Changes to traffic and parking arrangements on Memorial Day for Israel's Fallen Soldiers and Independence Day

Between 6:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The following streets will be closed to traffic and parking:

  • Ovadia Ben Shalom St. – the entire length
  • Rambam St. – the entire length
  • Radak St. – the entire length

The public is kindly r​​equested to arrive early due to the security checks to be conducted on site.

Any vehicle parked on these streets will be towed to adjacent streets.

The parking lots on Rambam St. and at Uziel School will be open.

People with disabilities will be able to park on Ovadia Ben Shalom St. (in the southbound lane), by showing the appropriate permit.

The public is requested not to put out yard clippings and trash on these streets!

From 9:00 a.m.

The following streets will be closed for parking:

  • Atzmaut Square, Karminyan St.
  • ​Herzl St. – from Stampfer St. to Dizengoff St. 
  • Dizengoff St. from building no. 20 to building no. 37
  • Ussishkin St. – from Rishon LeZion St. to Atzmaut Square
  • David Hamelech St. – from Bialik St. to Atzmaut Square
  • Gad Machnes St. – from building no. 1 to building no. 5 

From 12:00 p.m.

The following streets will be closed to traffic and parking:

  • The New Atzmaut Square stage
  • David Hamelech St. – from the corner of Bialik St. southbound
  • Ussishkin St. – from Yerushalayim Boulevard northbound 
  • Remez St. – from Dizengoff St. westbound
  • Dizengoff St. – from Shmuel Hanatziv St. to Remez St. 
  • Herzl St. -– from Stampfer St. to Dizengoff St.
  • Sportech stage, East Netanya 
  • Degania St. – from University Square to the intersection of Sprinzak and Degania Streets. 
  • There will be no access to Degania St. from the following streets: Unterman, Hartom, Harav Yana, Ha'ari (Ha'achdut Square)
  • Ovadia Park stage
  • Sprinzak St. – from Aharonovitz St. to Habanim Square 
  • Frija Zuaretz St. – the entire length
  • Ovadia Avraham St. – the entire length (from 10:00 a.m.)
  • Winter Lake Park stage
  • Eisenhower St. – from Hashoter Square to Ben-Gurion Blvd.
  • Ben Gurion Blvd. – the section between Uzi Hitman St. and Simcha Erlich St.
  • There will be no access to the Winter Lake parking lots from 12 noon
  • The park will be closed to visitors from Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 6:00 a.m. until Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. 

Free shuttle service to and from Winter Lake Stage will operate from 7:00 p.m. from the north end of the city (corner of Weizmann and Sokolov Streets), and East Netanya (University Square).

Parking is not allowed on the streets that are closed to traffic. Cars that park in these areas will be towed to nearby streets.

It is prohibited to bring the following items into the areas with the events: Firearms, animals (with the exception of guide dogs), glass bottles, alcoholic beverages, sprays of any kind, bicycles/ scooters.
