On Tuesday and Wednesday, August 28 to 29, 2013, starting from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. the next day, two lanes (one lane in each direction) will be closed on Dganya Street in Netanya, between Zuaretz St. and Unterman St., from south to north and north to south.
The lanes will be closed due to excavation work, which will be performed on that site within a few months, for the purpose of burying upper power cables in the ground - that will be connected to the “Yahalom” substation, which was constructed on the site.
Connecting the “Yahalom” substation will contribute to improving the reliability of electricity supply to residents of the city of Netanya, and the cable ground burying is done for environmental planning and due to the desire to keep the landscape clean.
The work is handled in complete coordination with the Netanya municipality and the police.
Traffic congestion is expected in the morning and the afternoon hours due to the closure of the lanes. Detour and traffic signs will be placed, and you are asked to follow these signs.
