Parking benefits in Kiryat Eliezer Industrial Zone |

Due to the serious lack of parking in the northern industrial zone of Kiryat Eliezer, Mayor Miriam Feirberg-Ikar and Eli Dalal, Acting Mayor in Charge of Transportation, instructed the municipal enforcement officers to implement a new arrangement on the above streets. According to the new arrangement that was reviewed by the municipal traffic committee, free parking must be provided to people with a resident sticker in the northern industrial zone on the streets where the curb is marked blue and white. Additionally, parking will also be permitted in parking lots marked with a sign (like on Orzim St.). The arrangement is valid for all streets in the Kiryat Eliezer Industrial Zone, with the exception of the main street - Pinkas David, where a 50% discount on parking fees will be given to Netanya residents. Tickets will only be given to those who park where prohibited. As noted above, the resolution in this spirit was passed in the municipal traffic committee following numerous complaints to the Municipality from citizens and business owners about the serious lack of parking in the area. The resolution will take effect as of April 1, 2019. Note that a resident sticker can be issued at the Parking Permit Offices on 8 Tel Hai St., at the Veterinary Services on 12 Harechev St., and at the Municipal Call Center on 2 Hatzoran St., for NIS 18 a year. Nonresidents will be able to purchase a monthly parking subscription for parking lots for NIS 150. |
