Looking to go somewhere that’s really interesting? Do you like history and want to learn more? We invite you to the Planetanya Center for Science, Space and Culture in Netanya, where you can see the exhibition celebrating the 60th anniversary of the satellite, Sputnik. The exhibition was on display in Europe and will be displayed in Israel for the first time in Netanya, which was selected to host the interactive competition thanks to the the unique center for science, space and culture that was opened two years ago. The exhibition will be dedicated to the first satellite launched into space 60 years ago, on October 4, 1957, by the USSR as part of the historic Sputnik program. This will be an opportunity to get to know first-hand about this breakthrough event, to understand the complex process before it was launched, how tens of thousands of experts worked on it and ponder about space science, which is a world unto its own... Planetanya - the Madarame Center for Science, Space and Culture is the crown jewel of Netanya in the field of scientific and space research, along with experiential learning about fascinating Japanese culture. The exhibition will be open to the public from November 12-29, 2017 (included in the cost of entry to Planetanya).
