As we get ready for the upcoming holidays, the following is the Beautification Department's schedule for removal of prunings, waste and residential garbage throughout the city
Please note several changes:
Removal of tree prunings and waste:
On Monday, September 21, placing prunings and waste outside is prohibited.
On Tuesday, the eve of Yom Kippur, September 22, prunings and waste will not be removed.
On Sunday, the eve of Sukkot, September 27, placing prunings and waste outside is prohibited.
On Monday, September 28, prunings and waste will not be removed.
On Sunday, the eve of Simchat Torah, October 4, placing prunings and waste outside is prohibited.
On Monday, October 5, prunings and waste will not be removed.
Placing prunings and waste outside after removal is strictly prohibited!
Please prepare accordingly - follow the instructions and avoid fines!
Collection of residential garbage:
Increased garbage collection will begin the evening prior to holiday eves and through the afternoon of the following day, and after the holidays end through the following morning.
Additionally, additional containers will be positioned around the city.
If there is no room to dispose of the trash, place it in a sealed bag in the trash room only.
Dispose of cardboard boxes in the nearby containers or fold and place them next to the containers in the trash rooms only!
In buildings with barriers, please leave them open accordingly.
Please separate the garbage at home and recycle it as follows:
• Packaging in the orange container
• Paper and thin cardboard in the blue container
• Glass in the purple container
• Bottles in the recycling receptacle
