Collection of household trimmings and waste before Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur
For the upcoming holidays the Shefa Department will be preparing as follows for the collection of trimmings and waste around the entire city.
Please pay attention to the following changes.
Trimmings and waste collection:
Monday and Tuesday, 22 September 2014 – 23 September 2014 collection will proceed as usual
Wednesday and Thursday 24 September 2014 – 25 September 2014 there will be no collection of waste and trimmings
During the week of Yom Kippur, trimmings collection will be handled as usual, according to the standard collection schedule in the area.
It is absolutely forbidden to throw away trimmings and waste after the collection date!
Please make preparations accordingly – abide by the directions and avoid fines!
Household waste collection:
Reinforced waste collection will commence in the evening prior to the holidays' eve until noon the next day and after the holidays' end until the following morning.
Additional containers will be placed throughout the city
If there is no room left for your waste, please place it in a sealed bag in the rooms designated for trash.
Cartons must be folded and placed beside the bins
If the garbage room has a gate, please leave gates and garbage rooms open.
Please separate the waste at home and recycle as follows:
Containers in the orange bin
Paper and thin cartons in the blue bin
Glass in the purple bin
Bottles in the recycling bin
