On Israeli Memorial Day, Monday, May 5, 2014, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.:
The following streets will be closed: Radak, Rambam and Ovadia Ben Shalom (due to the Memorial Day ceremony to be held at the cemetery in the Ben Zion neighborhood). Vehicles parked on these streets will be towed to nearby streets.
*The public is kindly requested to arrive early due to the security checks to be conducted on site.
*For the convenience of those visiting the cemetery, shuttle service will be offered to and from the cemetery from the following parking lots:
- The parking lot adjacent to Uziel School (corner of Binyamin Street and Itamar Ben-Avi)
- The parking lot on Rambam Street
On Independence Day Eve, Monday, May 5, 2014:
City Center - Stage on Independence Square, from 4:30 p.m.
David Hamelech Street - the entire length (from Nitza Boulevard south to the end of Gad Machnes)
Ussishkin Street - from Yerushalayim Boulevard northward
Remez Street - from Dizengoff Street westward
Dizengoff Street - from Shmuel Hanatziv Street to Remez Street
Herzl Street - from Smilansky Street, corner of Shmuel Hanatziv Street westbound
Kiryat Hasharon - Yahalom Sportech stage, from 5:00 p.m.
Degania Street - access to the street from University Square to the intersection of Sprinzak, corner of Degania will be blocked
*Access to Degania St. from the following streets will be blocked:
Unterman, Artom, Harav Vana, Ha'ari (Ha'achdut Square)
Artom Street will be closed to traffic from Spiegelman Street to Degania Street
Winter Lake Park (Hashlulit), from 5:30 p.m.
Ben Gurion Boulevard - will be closed to traffic between Shalom Aleichem Street and Erlich Street
Yitzhak Moda'i Street - the entire length will be closed to traffic
On Independence Day Eve, May 5, 2014, access to the Winter Lake (Hashlulit) - parking lots will be blocked - free rides will be offered to this area.
