Netanya Municipality, which has signed the convention to reduce air pollution, is calling on residents to reduce the number of bonfires and reduce air pollution, which puts our health at risk and contributes to global warming.
Lighting bonfires in the following areas is strictly prohibited:
The beaches, public parks, the Iris Reserve, Winter Lake, Memorials for IDF soldiers: Beit Yad Labanim and the nearby statues, the Alexandroni
Brigade Memorial and the industrial zones.
The public is requested to take caution:
• Do not use wood substitutes, plastic products or metals
• Do not throw flammable materials that may explode into the bonfire
• Please bring materials to extinguish the bonfire and do not leave bonfires unattended
• Please keep the area clean

Select a location for the bonfire in an open place without thorns or trees, and without overhead electrical wires. Create a safety boundary around the bonfire, in order to mark a no-crossing line.
Keep the children away from fire and prevent throwing objects and flammable materials into the fire,
