Notice to the public

Due to the acts of violence and serious assault attempts against mayors, The Netanya Municipality joins the local government initiative: This Sunday, April 7th 2013, the municipal departments’ services will be closed for two hours and reception of the public will not be held.

The cease of service is due to the acts of violence and assault attempts against mayors and their relatives, which reached new heights with the assassination attempt of the mayor of Acre.

The goal of this is to produce public awareness for this painful subject, and call on the government to allocate the appropriate budget to secure the mayors, elected officials and other municipalities’ frequently threatened public officials.
