Public notice of road closures
In honor of the unveiling of the National Monument Commemorating the Victory of the Red Army over Nazi Germany to be held on Monday, June 25, 2012, the following streets will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic in both directions:
Ben Ami Blvd.: Between Kehillat Tzfat and Simcha Erlich, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Parking on this section of road will be prohibited as of midnight the previous day (including parking in the Argaman Beach area).
Simcha Erlich St.: Between Ben Gurion and Ben Ami, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Ben Gurion Blvd.: Between Kikar Matalon, adjacent to the Carmel Hotel, and Simcha Erlich, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
It will not be possible to exit Kehillat Tzfat St. southbound to Ben Ami Blvd. as of 8:00 a.m. and northbound and southbound on Ben Gurion Blvd. as of 10:00 a.m.
Paragliding will be prohibited in the Carmel Hotel area from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
To Argaman beachgoers: Pedestrian access from the beach to Ben Ami Blvd. will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Residents of Galei Yam: As of 8:00 a.m., it will only be possible to exit southbound to Ben Gurion Blvd. via Bnei Binyamin St., using the marked gray lane.
Please follow the instructions of the traffic police and security forces on site.
Cars found on the aforementioned streets will be towed to the parking lot opposite the Carmel Hotel.
