Tractor’s History Museum
A unique and fascinating collections of the tractors and agricultural tools used by the country's farmers is on display amidst the citrus orchards in Moshav Ein-Verred near the Tel Mond settlement in the Sharon. The collection, organized by Erez Milstein and others who live on the moshav, is managed by a public association which aims to preserve and tell our country's story from the origin of agricultural settlements in the new era. The collection is one of the largest of its kind, including over one hundred and fifty motorized tools and dozens of other agricultural tools, dating from the beginning of the previous century. The collection site serves as a repair center for agricultural machinery, some of which are displayed later in shows and exhibitions. Worth the trip, it's an experience for all generations.
The association operates its own website at http://www.tractor.org.il. Vitis the site to learn the story of each piece of equipment and also to coordinate a visit. The museum hosts students, families, and other organized tour groups on weekdays. It is easily accessible and has parking and restroom facilities. Nominal admission fee.
