As we get ready for the upcoming holidays, the following is the Beautification Department's schedule for removal of prunings, waste and residential garbage throughout the city.
Please note several changes:
• Removal of tree prunings and waste:
On Sunday, the eve of Rosh Hashanah, October 2, 2016, placing prunings and waste outside is prohibited.
On Monday, October 3, 2016 - prunings and waste will not be removed in the eastern section of the city.
On Tuesday, October 4, 2016 - prunings and waste will not be removed in the northern section of the city.
On Wednesday - Thursday, October 5-6, 2016, removal will continue as normal, according to the fixed days.
Placing prunings and waste outside after removal is strictly prohibited!
Please prepare accordingly - follow the instructions and avoid fines!
• Collection of residential garbage:
Increased garbage collection will begin the evening prior to the holiday eve and through the afternoon of the following day, and after the holiday through the following morning.
Additionally, additional containers will be positioned around the city.
If there is no room to dispose of the trash, place it in a sealed bag in the trash room only!
Dispose of cardboard boxes in the nearby receptacles or fold and place them next to the containers in the trash rooms only!
In buildings with barriers, please leave them open accordingly.
Please separate the garbage at home and recycle it as follows:
• Packaging in the orange container
• Paper and thin cardboard in the blue container
• Glass in the purple container
• Bottles in the recycling receptacle
We regret the temporary inconvenience from collection of garbage at unconventional hours and thank you all for your cooperation.
